Will the date and location be kept?
JPEG can carry EXIF data, so timestamps and GPS may transfer. If you want to remove location before sharing, run the Strip EXIF tool afterwards.

Yes — on iPhone go to Settings › Camera › Formats and choose “Most Compatible” to shoot JPG directly. This tool converts photos you already have.
